Meet the Adult Team

One team, many areas of expertise

Brain tumor care is inherently multidisciplinary. At the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, specialists across neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuropathology, nursing, advanced practice, clinical research, social work, neuropsychology, pharmacy, and supportive care work together throughout a patient's care.

Our adult team brings different perspectives to diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical trials, symptom management, and ongoing support, allowing patients and families to access a broad range of expertise within one program.

How our team works:

Coordinated Care

Treatment decisions may involve input from specialists across multiple disciplines, with care tailored to the individual diagnosis, prior treatment, health needs, and goals of care.

Clinical and Research Integration

Physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, and clinical research teams work closely to connect patient care with opportunities for clinical research when appropriate.

Support Beyond Treatment

Social work, neuropsychology, nursing, supportive care, and other services help address the practical, cognitive, emotional, and day-to-day effects of living with a brain tumor.

Neuro-Oncology Physicians

Our neuro-oncologists specialize in diagnosing and treating primary brain and spinal cord tumors, guiding care from treatment planning through long-term management.
