Meet the Pediatric Team

Caring for a child with a brain tumor requires expertise across multiple specialties and an understanding of the needs of the whole family. At the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke, specialists across pediatric neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, nursing, advanced practice, clinical research, social work, psychology, and supportive care work together throughout a child’s care.

Our pediatric team brings different perspectives to diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical trials, symptom management, development, and ongoing support, creating a coordinated approach designed around each child and family.

Pediatric Neuro-Oncology

Our pediatric neuro-oncology team provides coordinated care for children with brain and spinal cord tumors, bringing together medical treatment, clinical research, supportive care, and family-centered services throughout diagnosis and treatment.
