Christina Cone, DNP, MBA, ANP-BC, AOCNP, has been named associate deputy director of the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.
Cone has been the administrative director for the Duke Brain Tumor Center since 2016.
“Her promotion reflects her continued commitment to excellence in clinical care, research administration, and strategic leadership,” said Gerald Grant, MD, chair of Duke Neurosurgery. “Dr. Cone brings over 25 years of clinical and administrative experience in oncology and neuro-oncology, with a distinguished record of patient-centered care, leadership, and scholarship.”
As associate deputy director, Cone will expand her leadership responsibilities to include oversight of finance and operations, and support for research and academics. She and will continue strategic leadership and program development, staff development, compliance, and quality assurance activities.
